It is recommended to choose the one which is laid with easy to control features and which can be controlled remotely.

Go for the ones which contain everything speakers, cables, amplifiers, DVD or Blu-ray player etc. So there is no need to buy anything separately from the market. The speakers a home cinema system constitutes as 2.1, 3.1, 5.1 and 7.1 systems hence are of great use to the users meeting their varied requirements. The speakers count also depends upon the width, the number of rooms and much more.  If you wish you can buy the speakers and amplifiers as separately but that could be more expensive.

Which one to choose from:

2.1 Home cinema systems: A simple 2.1 home cinema system consists of two speakers placed at the left and right of the TV with subwoofer in another room. These have an in-built amplifier which can help you to provide high-quality sound for music, TV and movies. It hence provides a great way to enjoy your favorite music or movie without need for surround and center channel speakers.

3.1 Home cinema systems: 3.1 system has an extra front speaker that can help you to boost the sound. Compared to 2.1 these 3.1 home theater systems give you a good sound improvement as these donot have built-in TV speakers.

5.1 Home Cinema Systems: It consists of three front speakers, two rear speakers, a subwoofer and also a DVD and/or Blu-ray player. Each of the speakers in this 5.1 channel system play an important role as the front (or stereo) speaker’s help to make you enjoy the best surround sound speaker effect. The rear surround speakers that are used in 5.1 channel system help to create a three-dimensional sound field wherein the sounds can be heard actually from all of the directions.

7.1 Home Cinema Systems: It adds two additional rear speakers to the normal 5.1 home theater system. It has a feature it doesn’t combine both surround and rear channel speakers but it puts them separate into four channels. It means, sound effects from side speakers are moved towards left and right channels and rear effects moved towards rear or back channels.

You can also get rid of all the speaker cables in the room by switching from wired to wireless home theater systems.
