Central Speaker
This speaker
should be placed on the television set that too at the center that is its best
position. Just to utilize the room acoustics in a better manner, both the TV
and speaker should be placed straight in front of the audience.
Front Left and Front Right Speakers
These create
the actual sound effects and also background music when a movie is played so letting
you enjoy the real home theatrical experience. These two speakers and the central
speaker should be equally distant from the audience. If you have a larger
number of people in the audience for watching the movie then place the front
left and also right speakers in line with the central one. They should actually
go parallel to the front row audience.
Surround Sound Speakers
Surround sound speakers are meant to create such a musical
effect around the audience which makes them feel they are actually surrounded
by sound. They should be placed at the rear side of the main sitting area of
audience, that too about 3 feet above the normal audience ear level. They can
be placed on the side walls.
Subwoofer
This speaker
helps to generate low frequency sound waves and also produces bass sounds. You
can yourself judge whether its placement is fine or not. The volume of the subwoofer
should not be kept too high. The best option would be to place one at the rear
and another at the front end of the audience.
